Hi everyone - we have been asked quite a bit to put our fire through a test laboratory to be tested in accordance with AS NZS 2918:2000.

So we have just sent a Multi fuel to Spectrum Laboratories in Auckland.

This test specifies the correct clearances around our fire and is essential for dwellings and insurance purposes, we are also have the Multi fuel tested for peak power output on both fuels.

This is a costly exercise for us but we feel it gives customers assurance our product is superior.

We are aware of imitations on the market,  we have seen the quality and they dont compare, we are asked all the time to supply a flue kit for these imitation fires - but we wont.
