The Little Cracker is manufactured by Tarlan Technical Ltd, which is a general engineering business owned by husband and wife team Bert and Jodi van Beuzekom. Their daughter, Taryn, also helps out too, trading learning valuable skills that she may need in a future job for wages, which is a labour of love.

Taryn van Beuzekom
Website Author and Admin Manager Aside from working full-time alongside Dad at the Christchurch Airport, I still maintain both websites for our Little Cracker fires and the multi-fuel ovens we import from Greece. I also divide my time between the workshop and the office, performing tasks such as: helping to assemble the fires, stock-takes and ordering components, keeping track of order statuses and also completing the not-so-fun tasks like GST returns and paying supplier invoices. Both the fires and the freight as well as helping Mum makes it challenging to have some spare time. But when I do, I love to spend time with my family, friends and pets, play a few video games, watch a few of my favorite TV series, listen to music and write the occasional story (sometimes original, sometimes fanfiction). |
